Oh, Harry is the project of Harriet Ohlsson, who was previously lead singer with Swedish band Hellsongs (who make jazz/lounge covers of heavy metal songs). This cover (The O’Jays’ original with notable covers by Third World and then Heavy D & The Boyz) further lifts the lid on Ohlsson’s ability to take a classic and strip it down into something personal and unique. There are more quirky gems on offer on her recently-completed album Arena Rock, which reveals her as a unique alt-pop artist. The wonderful Shift Happens and I Reclaim The Streets are just two examples worth checking out. Oh, Harry’s team are currently seeking licensing, label, publishing, booking agents and sync opportunities. |
